Staff and The Wizard of Christchurch and MC Richard Proctor at Creeksyde's 20th celebrations. NZ$1,000 each was donated to the local St John's Ambulance Assoc. and to the Queenstown Volunteer Fire Brigade.

Also Staff at Creeksyde held an Open day with cookies and coffee, head & hand Massages, hair cuts & guided tours to raise NZ$350 for Save The Children funds after Myanmar Floods and China's earthquake. Tonnie & Erna matched the funds raised $ for $.

World's first holiday park to be certified!
Queenstown Holiday Park Creeksyde became the world's first GREEN
GLOBE certified holiday park. Beside our annual renewal of this, we also have a strong commitment to our community, so we started a project to create more awareness within local businesses about our waterways, and how they are polluted. 2004 2005 2006 2007. |

Handmade BBQ
The steel top plate from an old commercial heat storage cooker, an even older black coal range and 10 tonne of flax, 3 years of loving labour and this BBQ Kitchen was born! |

Adult's and children's education
The owner's commitment to environmental awareness and getting this information to the community led to invitations from Polytech's and schools to talk about environmentally friendly cleaning, worm farm issues etc. |

A trip to the landfill with staff helped a lot in understanding where and how all our non recycled rubbish ends up. |

Re-Use
A 10 tonne,12 mt hand made steel pressure cylinder which would otherwise have ended up in the landfill, was the first part of our main reception building, and is a landmark and orientation point within the park as well as within the community. |

Help us to Breathe
Horne Creek flows past the local industrial area, down through Creeksyde and into Lake Wakatipu . The Poster shown here was developed between Creeksyde and the Queenstown Lakes District Council and distributed around businesses who’s storm water flows into the creek. |
